How to Stop Avoiding Conflicts and Start Engaging with Them Positively

avoid conflict

Most of us know this scenario quite well:

A conflict arises between ourselves and someone else,
or between two other people who are dear to us,
and our first reaction is…RUN!
or
MAKE THIS GO AWAY!

We generally just want to make this conflict disappear ASAP
so that we can go on with our lives in harmony and ease.

This approach causes alot of suffering for us because:

A. It assumes that conflict is somehow “wrong” and that having a conflict means something is not OK with us or with our life.

B. We don’t always know HOW to make the conflict go away, and this fact makes us feel even worse. And –

C. We are fighting with reality, wishing for things to be different than they are, which is always painful.

However, the good news is that there IS a different way to approach conflicts!

In today’s Video-log I talk about how to stop avoiding conflicts

and start engaging with them as golden opportunities for transformation in our life
